With the Simsafix®, fruit can be juiced easily and without much effort. It is not necessary to remove the skin, pips, seeds and stalks - however, large fruits should be chopped up a little beforehand. This can be done very easily, for example, by chopping them for 5 seconds at level 5 in the blender jug.
Fill the mixing container with 1 litre of water and insert the Simsafix®.
Place the steamer attachment on top and fill with up to 2kg of ripe, washed (and chopped if necessary) fruit, vegetables or herbs. Then place the cover on the steamer attachment.
Set the duration, level and temperature. Depending on the type of fruit and quantity, we recommend 50 minutes, level 1 and 120°C. Soft fruit is usually completely juiced after just 30-40 minutes.
You can easily remove the Simsafix® container with the Monsieur Cuisine spatula.
The juice can be decanted without any spillages thanks to the practical pouring lip. Now you can leave it to cool slightly and enjoy or process it further.
With the Simsafix® you can easily make your own fruit, vegetable or herbal juices, as well as jellies, jams, liqueurs and much more.
How does steam juicing work?
During steaming, the fruit cells burst due to the rising heat and release their delicious juice. This flows into the blender jug and collects in the Simsafix®.
By the way: at 120°C, approx. 250ml evaporate per 15 minutes. With 1 litre of water, you can therefore juice for 50 minutes without having to top up.
For large-volume fruit, we recommend the MaxiStream®. This enlarges the steamer attachment and gives you even more space for fruit. However, the Simsafix® container may need to be emptied in the meantime.
