So small and yet so versatile: The measuring cup is used to close the small opening in the lid of the Monsieur Cuisine blender jug, thus preventing food from spilling out. Secondly, thanks to the clear scale, ingredients can be measured effortlessly in 20 ml steps. When the blender is running, the measuring cup should only be removed up to max. 3rd speed setting, otherwise food may be ejected. Certain foods or spices (e.g. curry) can discolour the plastic. This is not a fault of the appliance and is not harmful to health.
